For many of us the holidays are centered around food and alcohol, and for those of us who are trying to eat a different way and slow down on drinking, the holidays can be an extra challenging time. There are many other wonderful things about the holiday season such as catching up with family members, gift giving, etc
It’s hard to be the only one who is doing things differently. People will judge. People will say things. But remember it’s likely a reflection of their own stuff. When you draw an intentional awareness to why you are on the path you are on, it’s easier to stand in your power when faced with external pressures. Are you working on your energy because you want to show up as a better parent? Striving to be confident again?
Most of the time, there is room for life to happen. It’s how you talk to yourself when things go off course that will really determine if you will completely sabotage your health goals or jump right back on board the next day.

Hi! I’m Jess!
Health enthusiast, business owner, toddler mom, and
common law wifey.
In March 2020 I found myself training to become a health coach while working as a Registered Nurse during a pandemic, pregnant, and taking care of my depressed mother. Soon after I was a new mother trying to build a health coaching business with a hustle culture mindset on my way back to burnout with nothing to show for it.
No baby, no partner, no business, no life.
Luckily, my partner was patient and understanding enough to bring me back to reality and I was able to use all the skills I had learned having recovered from burnout previously and through my formal training in functional medicine to keep it all together.
Now, I can honestly say that I'm living my best life. Exploring life in a new country, in a new language, with
my energetic toddler, incredible partner and
thriving business.
And the best part is, I get
to help other ambitious
parents, entrepreneurs,
and professionals
do it too!
